Awesome idea!
We really don’t know why we waited so long to get one. A treadmill with a screen has changed EVERYTHING about our workout.
It’s so much easier to challenge yourself and stick to your routine when you can binge Lucifer while doing it instead of staring at the display (SUCKS!). You pretty much forget you’re even exercising. Seriously, we spend almost double the time jogging that we used to.

Our Top Choice for Treadmill with a TV Screen – NordicTrack Commercial 2450

After days of debating, the entire team agreed unanimously that the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 Treadmill was hands down the best treadmill with a TV and screen.
It is a foldable treadmill that you can store easily, even with limited living space. Capable of different levels of workout intensity, it is perfect for both runners and walkers with varying fitness goals.
The 22-inch belt offers plenty of space for you to sweat it out. It is two-ply, highly resistant to stretching, and requires little maintenance.
Of course, we have to mention the smart touchscreen display that swivels or tilts and the built-in Bluetooth speakers—a treat for both the eyes and the ears.
If you’re just looking for the ultimate treadmill to get you in shape quickly and comfortably, this is a no-brainer – if you’ve got the money to spend on it.
There’s no treadmill better for achieving fitness goals in this price range. Pound-for-pound, this is the Manny Pacquiao of home workout equipment. It’s like a treadmill, personal trainer, and home entertainment system all in one (50 workout programs!).
Seriously, it’s a complete game changer.
Our Experience with NordicTrack 2450
The 14” screen is big enough to watch anything comfortably, but no not so big it’s too cumbersome to handle or overwhelming.
Plus it comes with 1 year of iFit, NordicTrack’s best-in-industry personal training. You just choose a workout at any level and the treadmill literally guides the workout for you, including adjusting speed, incline, and resistance. That way, you don’t ever have to take your eyes off the screen.
You can work out with elite personal trainers, all with the touch of the button. The i-Fit app controls the speed, incline, and decline of your treadmill so that you can focus on running and following the trainer’s instructions! The video below shows what we are talking about.
This is definitely for serious fitness people or people with major goals. NordicTrack’s patented “Runners Flex” cushioning helps absorb the shock so you don’t put too much pressure on your knees during long sessions. So go ahead and run for days without pain (just make sure to keep proper form and rest).
We each did a 90-minute session on it multiple times, and we never felt bored or that “oh my god, get me off of this thing” feeling you get with most gym treadmills.
It doesn’t have the biggest screen, and it doesn’t have as many workout programs as NordicTrack’s super luxurious model, but for the price it’s unbeatable. If you want more features, you’ll have to pay hundreds more.

Features and Benefits
The NordicTrack Commercial 2450 Treadmill is loaded with features:
- 1-year of iFit FREE: Instant access to on-demand indoor and outdoor training from world-class personal trainers. Most reviews raved about how motivating the training was. It really pushes you to keep going every day.
- Simulates an outdoor run: The 3% decline to 15% incline span simulates real outdoor running, helping you get more out of every session. Most treadmills don’t push your muscles enough, stalling weight loss and strength training. Not this one.
- Space-saving: It easily lifts up to be stored in a small space. Perfect for small apartments and downtown condos.
- Football field surface: The 20″ x 60″ treadmill belt fits anyone from 5-feet tall to 7-feet. Great for husband/wife combos.
- Easy on the knees: It comes with FlexSelect cushioning to make running easier on your joints.
- Huge capacity: Can support users up to 300 pounds.
- NordicTrack provides a 10-year frame warranty, 2-year parts, and 1-year labor warranty
If you’re looking for the best overall value, and just need a great treadmill that will whip you into shape quickly at a fair price, this is it. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get in shape!
- Best workout and cheaper than comparable models
- Fits the whole family (iFit allows 5 individual profiles) so the kids can use it too
- 50 iFit programs, so you never feel bored. Every day brings something new, so you’ll keep running and losing weight
- Feels like a home gym
- Giant cup holders (32 oz coffee mug? No problem!)

#2 NordicTrack Commercial 2950 – Widest Screen Treadmill

The NordicTrack 2950 is basically the same as the 2450, except with a much larger screen (22-inches), and a much stronger frame.
If you’re looking for a super wide screen for an almost home-cinema-like viewing experience, this is for you.
Seriously, we felt like we were in an iMax theater for a bit. Treadmill running never looked so good!
Other than the screen, though, it’s pretty much the same as the 2450.
It is a solid treadmill that sits at the top of the Commercial Series Treadmill food chain.
With a 22-inch belt size and 60-inch belt powered by a 4.25 CHP motor, it can accommodate endurance workouts without breaking a sweat.
The treadmill deck absorbs the sound of your footfall, which means you can work out even while everyone else is sound asleep.
With a flip of a switch, you can also switch between a cushioned deck and a road-like surface using the Reflex cushioning system.
Once you have worked up enough sweat, the triple fan power can help cool you down.
It’s safe to say that the NordicTrack 2950 has all the bells and whistles, and all of them can be yours if you have the budget for it.
Check out the table below for a quick snapshot.

All in all, it is about $500 more expensive, so unless you’re really craving a massive touch screen, the 2450 is better value.
- We joked it was the iMax of treadmills. It’s really a cinematic experience. Not sure how much that helps your run, though.
- There’s literally 0 shaking or rumbling on this treadmill. Helps if you’re bigger than average.
- NordicTrack’s 10-year frame warranty (also available on the 2450)

#3 NordicTrack Commercial 1750 – The Best Budget Commercial Treadmill with a Screen

Want to get fit and save $1,000 to spend on slimmer clothes?
Bingo, the NordicTrack 1750 is for you.
It’s almost as good as the high-end models, except it’s way cheaper.
The 1750 is your way to get fit while being entertained WITHOUT spending thousands of dollars. Seriously, unless you plan on a serious workout routine or just love a luxury widescreen, you don’t need a high-end machine.
You’ll sacrifice on screen space (it’s only 10”), but it’s still plenty. Other than that, the only noticeable differences are the space (it’s a few inches smaller) and workout fans (1 less).
So you’ll save a ton of money and still get:
- iFit and all the workout routines
- Incline/decline range
- NordicTrack warranty
- Cushioned running pad for your knees
- High weight user capacity
- High max speed
- Auto trainer
And a ton more.
If you want the best bargain treadmill with a screen this is it. Once you go cheaper than this level, you start to make serious sacrifices in quality.
- Literally all the same features as the high-end models except the screen and workout fans. In case you’re worried about quality, don’t be. The lower price is almost completely due to the screen.
- Just a slightly smaller version of the 2450 but for a lot less
- The screen is definitely small, but still big enough to watch with no eye strain

#4. NordicTrack T 9.5 S Treadmill

NordicTrack is pretty dang good. Can you tell?
Here it is again with the T-9.5S.
The T-series from NordicTrack is the less powerful treadmill series meant for moderate home use. Of these, the T 9.5 S and the T 8.5 S have screens.
We prefer the T9.5S because of the bigger touch screen (14”).
It offers a crisp and clear display, from which you can enjoy the inbuilt 50 workout apps, iFit coach or simply connect to the internet and stream your favorite movie.

Apart from the entertainment options (which also include two inbuilt speakers), the T9.5S is a solid machine in every way. The commercial grade steel frame is nearly unbreakable, and it comes with a lifetime warranty for the body and motor.
It is built around a commercial-grade steel frame, with a lifetime warranty for the body and the motor. It also comes with a 5-year warranty for parts and a 2-year warranty for labor, which is proof of just how durable this machine is.
You also get a powerful 3.6 horsepower motor that is perfect for running, walking, or jogging. Its high power means that it can support you comfortably even if you approach the weight limit of 300 lbs.
Other features include a max 12 mph speed, 12% max incline, and a superior adjustable FlexSelect cushioning system.

What we liked
- Superior build quality, rivaling the C series which are made for commercial use.
- It comes with a one-year iFit subscription.
- Excellent entertainment options, with a massive 14″ inch crisp touchscreen display and inbuilt speakers.
- It can be folded and put away when not in use.
- Powerful motor.
Who should buy this?
If you’re looking for casual to medium intensity workouts, the NordicTrack T9.5 S is just perfect. The big screen, free 1-year iFit subscription, and inbuilt speakers are particularly appealing, and you will never get bored training with this machine.
The best part is that it is quite competitively priced. Its features threaten other models that are way more expensive.
- It’s a great bargain considering the price
- The screen is huge. Normally a lower price means a smaller screen. Not this time.
- The incline range is only 0 – 12%, but unless you’re hardcore it won’t make a difference. Most people don’t even go past 0% decline anyway

#5. NordicTrack T 8.5 S Treadmill

Bringing up the rear of NordicTrack treadmills on this list of the best treadmills with a TV Screen is the T 8.5 S. It is very similar to the T 9.5 S, except the screen and motor are smaller
The table below succinctly captures the difference between the two treadmills.
NordicTrack T 8.5 S | NordicTrack T 9.5 S | |
Screen | 10-inch | 14-inch |
Motor (horsepower) | 3.5 | 3.6 |
Yes, that is it! These are the only two differences between the two treadmills. So if you are okay with a smaller screen and a (very) slightly less powerful motor, NordicTrack T 8.5 S is a great treadmill that comes with a screen.
Who should buy this?
Of all the NordicTrack treadmills that we have discussed so far, NordicTrack T 8.5 S has the smallest screen, the smallest motor, and the least price. So this treadmill is the best option for a user who just wants a good and functional treadmill with a basic screen.
- You’ll get everything you need for a good workout for a lot less.
- No frills. No extra expensive features you won’t use. Just a solid treadmill, albeit with a small screen and speed limitations

#6. ProForm Pro 9000 Treadmill with Screen

The ProForm Pro 9000 is an upgraded version of ProForm’s best-selling ProForm 2000. It gives you one of the largest running areas in the industry thanks to its large 60″ L x 22″ W belt surface area. It also comes with some of the best entertainment options that ProForm has to offer.
ProForm is one of the biggest manufacturers of exercise machines, and they have put in a lot of effort into the ProForm 9000. Although it is marketed as a residential machine, it is made to such a high standard that most people regard it as a light-commercial treadmill.

With this particular machine, you get high-grade steel components for the frame. It also packs a huge 4.25 CHP Mach Z commercial plus motor with up to 12mph Quickspeed controls. These and the fine engineering make it a durable, high-performance machine.
ProForm has added an inbuilt 10″ full-color touchscreen with internet capabilities and a Chrome browser. This means that you can stream and watch anything you want while exercising. Even better, it comes with inbuilt iFit integration. This means that you get world-class coaching with automatic incline/decline controls.
The ProForm 9000 also has the largest incline/decline ranges, with 15% and 3% available respectively. These can be adjusted at angles of 1%.
What we liked
- The large motor makes it perfect for runners and heavy people.
- Large running surface.
- Large, interactive, and high definition touchscreen.
- Durable and well built.
- iFit enabled.
Who should buy this?
This is the best residential treadmill that ProForm has currently. It comes with all the bells and whistles you would expect from a top of the line treadmill. The iFit and internet-enabled touchscreen console are a massive benefit.
If you are willing to pay for the top quality this product brings, then the ProForm 9000 is worth every penny.
- Stream anything you want at any time
- Huge running surface, so it doesn’t matter how big you are or how much you like to move around
- Huge motor, so speeds up really quickly

What to Look for When Buying a Treadmill With a Screen
Treadmills with a screen are NOT CHEAP.
The last thing you want to do is spend $2,000 or more and be stuck with something you don’t even like.
After spending weeks testing and researching each model on the market, we’ve noticed a few things that you absolutely HAVE TO know before shopping.
We’ve narrowed down the list to the 5 most important features in order. Start with the top and work your way down, and make sure the model you choose checks off each one before clicking BUY!
- Workout Programs: The whole reason your buying the dang thing is to keep yourself motivated, right? Why buy a treadmill just to watch the dot go around a track? Nobody wants that. What you need is some serious training material to keep motivated while running. If you don’t have it, you’ll quit. That’s why NordicTrack is such a great company. Their training is so motivating. You actually want to stay on the treadmill. At bare minimum you should have 20+ workout programs with built-in personal training to keep you on your toes.
- Screen Size: Size isn’t everything but a screen that’s too small will ruin your workout. 14” is the ideal screen size, but bigger is fine if you’re hard of sight or just prefer a cinematic experience. We definitely recommend not dropping below 10”.
- Motor Size: Your motor should be at least 3.7CHP if you want a moderate to intense workout. Don’t worry about what that means just know it’s important. If it’s 4 or better, you’re golden.
- Durability: These things are expensive, so if they are made from a super sturdy steel frame, you’ll run into a lot of expensive upkeep down the road. Especially if you’re going to be using it 5x a week or more. Choose a company with a strong parts warranty, and make sure they cover labor in their warranty too.
- Incline/Decline: Make sure your treadmill has a wide range of incline/decline to simulate a tough outdoor running experience. The more varied your workout the more taxing it’ll be. And the more taxing means the quicker you burn calories. If your treadmill only goes – 1 to +5, it won’t be tough enough to burn serious calories.
Conclusion
You know how hard it is to get the motivation to exercise regularly week on week. Unlike running outdoors where changing scenery is a natural attraction, indoor exercise can get monotonous very quickly.
For this reason, manufacturers have come up with all kinds of innovative ways to draw you in. Unlike a few years ago where a TV was the main entertainment option available, nowadays we have more options.
From user feedback, you can conclude that internet connectivity and large display are the main reasons these treadmills are popular, in addition to their excellent performance and build quality.
No matter what your entertainment preference is, this list is sure to have given you a good idea of what you can get in terms of the best treadmills with a screen.
